Frequently Asked Questions
- Where can I park? We have a spacious parking area at Agape Bible Church. Feel free to choose any available spot. If you need assistance or have specific requirements, kindly reach out, and our team will be happy to help.
- What time should I arrive? For our Early Service at 8:30am, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to settle in. If you're joining our Regular Service at 10am, you might want to come a bit earlier, especially if you want to have your children join the Nursery and Children's Church programs.
- Is there a children's church or nursery? Yes, during our 10am Regular Service, we offer both a Nursery and a Children's Church program. Your children can enjoy learning about Jesus in a safe and engaging environment.
- What should I wear? At Agape Bible Church, we focus on the heart rather than appearance. Wear what you're comfortable in, whether it's casual or formal. We're just glad to have you join us!
- How long is the service? Our Early Service starts at 8:30am and lasts for about 70 minutes. The Regular Service begins at 10am and goes on for approximately 2 hours.
- What is the service format (e.g., worship, teaching, communion)? Both our services start with uplifting worship followed by insightful teaching of God's Word. We also observe The Lord's Supper, a time where believers partake in bread and grape juice as symbols of Jesus' body and blood, as a remembrance of His sacrifice for us. Special services might include communion and other observances as directed by the Holy Spirit.
Our Core Beliefs
- The Scriptures: The Holy Bible is God-inspired, revealing salvation through Jesus Christ. It stands as the ultimate truth, guiding our lives and beliefs.
- God's Nature: There is one true God, eternally existent as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Together, they work for the redemption of humankind.
- Humankind: Created in God's image, humans have infinite value. However, through disbelief and disobedience, they've fallen from grace, needing salvation.
- Salvation: Achieved by grace alone, through Jesus Christ. He bore our sins on the cross, restoring us to God's grace, and now serves as our Savior and Mediator.
- The New Birth: By accepting Jesus and His teachings, one experiences a profound spiritual rebirth, embracing the eternal life God offers.
- Faith & Repentance: Faith is accepting God's word as truth and is essential for salvation. Repentance is a genuine turn from sin towards Christ.
- Baptism: An outward act symbolizing the inward transformation of believers, acknowledging their commitment to Christ.
- The Body of Christ: All born-again individuals worldwide form Christ's body. We aim to unite in peace, sharing one faith and one purpose.
- The Lord's Supper: A time of reflection, where believers partake in bread and grape juice symbolizing Christ's body and blood.
- Gifts of the Holy Spirit: We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12 and 14, are still operational today. These gifts may manifest in various services through different individuals.
- Divine Healing: God's power can heal, a belief firmly rooted in scriptures and exemplified by Christ's ministry.
- Jesus' Return: Christ will return, marking the end of the present world, ushering in judgment, and creating a new heaven and earth.
